Sheptone is dedicated to blue-printing the sweet spot of vintage sets, aiming for a warmer frequency response that eliminates harsh factory highs. Led by proprietor and builder Josh Vittek, the workshop continues to handcraft each pickup one at a time using period-correct materials and proprietary butyrate bobbins. Humbuckers are typically left unpotted to maintain the harmonic complexity and woody transparency of the late 1950s era. The Sheptone Tribute P.A.F. remains their flagship design, capturing the essence of classic rock-era winds with exceptional note separation.
