After decades of playing and swapping guitars in search of that elusive tone, one that kept changing in my own head, I realized that central to the tone (yes, you guessed it) are the pickups. It took me a really long time to get to that point. Too long. You kind of grow up thinking that if a guitar comes with certain pickups, then that’s just how it’s supposed to be. So you keep changing amps and pedals to shape the sound, not realizing how much of it actually comes down to the pickups. Swapping out dull, mass-produced pickups for handwound pickups made by someone who’s spent years studying and perfecting the craft can completely transform a guitar.

I also came to see that most of these gems are made in the US or UK, which shouldn’t really come as a surprise, since that’s where rock ’n’ roll and most electric guitar music were born. For someone like me, based in Europe, that often means shipping fees, customs charges, and unpredictable lead times. So I set out to create a hub that makes it easier for guitarists to access the very best pickups in one place.

Having boxes of pickups right next to me means I’ve been able to try many of the pickups I sell, probably more than most people ever will. So if you have questions, ask away. I’m always happy to share my experience. People who’ve bought based on my recommendations are usually very happy with their choices. That’s the point.

We’re based in Vilnius, Lithuania, not exactly the place you’d expect for this kind of thing. Most would probably guess Nashville or LA. But here we are.
