The Signature set represents Ron Ellis’s approach to the classic PAF style humbucker.

The design focuses on achieving the clarity and dynamic feel often associated with single coil pickups while retaining the fullness of a traditional humbucker.

Compared with many humbucker designs, the Signature set has slightly reduced midrange content. This allows the pickup to interact with the amplifier more openly without driving the preamp as aggressively, preserving articulation and note separation.

The pickup uses a specific combination of materials selected by Ron Ellis to achieve a clear and expressive PAF style response.
