64S is a recreation of Stratocaster pickups developed in the early to mid 60s. Articulate and clear, the 64S have a bell-like tone with clarity and note separation typical of that period. The 64S sound like what you would expect from a genuine vintage 60s Stratocaster.

This specification reflects the mid-1960s transition period, offering balanced output, controlled low end, and open high frequencies associated with that era.

The tonal character is commonly associated with classic Stratocaster recordings from players such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Gilmour, and later artists including John Mayer and Doyle Bramhall II.
