The Teisco Gold Foil Neck Pickup is Mojo Pickups’ interpretation of the classic 1960s Teisco style design.
It is a true single coil built using 44 AWG wire and a rubberised ceramic magnet, following the construction methods associated with original Japanese units. This design delivers the characteristic response of vintage Teisco style pickups.
The result is a bright and articulate tone with strong clarity and string separation, while retaining enough fullness to keep chords balanced. The response remains clear and defined across different playing styles.
The neck pickup measures approximately 6.1 kΩ for balanced output and clarity.
